Another side of Covid-19

"Life is nothing without hurdles." We all know that how boring will life will be if there will be no ups and downs, hurdles and enjoyment, tragedy and fate. Life without these things is the same as food without spices. The same work of spices has done the Corona Virus with our life this year in 2020. I know pandemic has done many bad things to us like deaths, migration, unemployment, the slowdown of the economy, no social life for months and etc. All over the world approx 1,711498 individuals are dead due to covid-19, the economy has been massively impacted, marginalized people suffered for basic necessities of food and shelter. Apart from all of these difficulties and hurdles Covid-19 also done good things for us. You just need to think from under the table with different directions and perspectives. Just tell me, have you ever thought that you will spend your 3-4 month 24 hours with all your family members? With all the siblings, with your father who always out for work and...

Is Indian Celebrities' Lacking behind in their Social Responsibility?

As an audience, we all know-how and what impact our celebrities and public figures personality play in our life. T hey have the absolute power to influence our choices our decision and our career choices which we gonna made in the future. From being influencing on our dressing sense to influencing decision which we took to make society better for the next generation to engage our voice for the right things. Sometimes these influences can be positive as well as negative because it always depends on the other people how he/she perceived things and in which manner. And this influence quotient is very much higher in Indian society in comparison to western society. In Indian society, people followed their superstar or super celebrity like a God, from inking their names or inking their portraits on their body or acting on their action whether is an aggressive action on social media or somewhere else or polite action. Somehow I have realized that our Indian celebrities play a very neutra...

Financial Independence And Women

Why financial independence is important for women? I asked why not?? Yes financial independence is important for all regardless of men and women, but in our patriarchal society where men's have all the rights to do things, where men's are the sole decision-maker in the house, women's did not have the basic rights to do things (what to wear what to not, where to spend money where to not, buy something, which job we should do or we shouldn't etc.) they have to take permission for all these things. Financial Independence as important as your identity is or we can see financial independence as a tool to define our own identity. Financial independence is as much as important to financial freedom. Well, now you must be curious about what exactly financial independence is? Financial independence is enough income to pay our own living expenses without any kind of dependence. Whereas Financial freedom is when you can spend money without any kind of constraint or stress. Well yo...

Youth - The Backbone of the Society?

The whole concept of society revolves around the Youth, we (Youth) determined the future and present of society through being the responsible young, rational generation, who knows what is wrong and right, who know the silver line between being right and wrong. The one who can analyze every right doing and wrongdoing of the government and society. Who knows, what our society needed the most, whether true journalism who talk about farmers or journalism who talks about weeds. So here we are, Who are the Youths? Any individual between 15- 30 age group regardless of any gender and sexuality. According to the 2011 census the population of youth was 229 million between the age of 15-24. The United States has 43.9 million youth according to the 2011 census. In India, it was also seen that the population of youth is increasing day by day which is only good if we do something to change this society into a more secure, liberal, dependent society, where every individual male or female can take the...

Sufi Sun a South Asian Pakistani Queer

Sufi Malik aka Sufi Sun born and brought up in a Pakistani Sunni Muslim family in New York. She is a photographer, poet, an art teacher, and a lover. She left her family at the age of 17 to live her real own version of Sufi, doing everything on her own for herself making her own chosen family and community. It was not as smooth as we can ever imagine to come up with a thing which is so unacceptable to our own family that they can disown us for that or whatever and the so-called crime she has done to be a "gay" or "queer" but it was not her choice to being a queer it is how it is.  And I am so glad that she didn't give up at any point in time in her journey. And came up as the icon for many Asian queer youths who still are not able to collect that courage to be open about their sexuality to their family friends and so-called society who never ever be there for them unless they do have some needs.
