It was not as smooth as we can ever imagine to come up with a thing which is so unacceptable to our own family that they can disown us for that or whatever and the so-called crime she has done to be a "gay" or "queer" but it was not her choice to being a queer it is how it is.
And I am so glad that she didn't give up at any point in time in her journey. And came up as the icon for many Asian queer youths who still are not able to collect that courage to be open about their sexuality to their family friends and so-called society who never ever be there for them unless they do have some needs.

Apart from all this, she is such an impression on many of us who just believe in LOVE and nothing else, by the way, you should not need to be Queer or Homosexual to believe in just LOVE because love has no gender in reality if you think about it. If you try to look at her closely you will find out "how one can be so broken and at the same time the full of so much love".
You will find the touch of the Sufi sun in everything which she does whether her photography, her poems, her painting, her love for blue, her love of Sufism, or her love for her soul mate Anjali Chakra. She will make you think about what are you doing with your life, are you living it or not, and it is the real way in which you want to live your life.
She will make you think to find the purpose in everything you are doing and how are you contributing to your society. She is the epitome of love, courage, pain, and sunshine.
"I taste the fear of being alone,
Heavy on my tongue
I can't help but swallow all of it
And let it sit in my stomach
Before it goes to waste
To teach me a few things
About the way, I relish
Within myself."
