Sufi Malik aka Sufi Sun born and brought up in a Pakistani Sunni Muslim family in New York. She is a photographer, poet, an art teacher, and a lover. And I am so glad that she didn't give up at any point in time in her journey. And came up as the icon for many Asian queer youths who still are not able to collect that courage to be open about their sexuality to their family friends and so-called society who never ever be there for them unless they do have some needs.
